摘要
Neurologic issues usually accompany diabetes mellitus, which can be incapacitating. Diabetic patients may have discomfort and sensory anomalies, weakness and paralysis, and symptoms of autonomic dysfunction. Neurological problems have been linked to diabetes mellitus for many years, but our understanding of this group of ailments is exceedingly restricted. Diabetes type 2 is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance. Strokes, vascular dementia, and Alzheimer's have been associated with it. Pathologic examinations are ambiguous and incomplete. It is challenging to develop a diagnosis and interpret a pathophysiologic pattern given the vast range of clinical symptoms. Many studies have looked at the potential causes of various diseases, but none have addressed the core problem. Despite significant advancements in our knowledge of neurological problems and diabetes over the past 10 years, it is still unclear which specific pathways cause type 1 and type 2 diabetes-related neurological abnormalities. Future research on disease causation will be essential for dealing with diabetic neuropathy on all fronts, from prevention to therapy.
