摘要
Different synthetic routes of pseudo-halide bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes with several tridentate Schiff base blocking ligands have been gathered. Their structures have been discussed in detail. Their magnetic properties are also interesting. In this review, we have discussed the synthesis, structures and magnetic properties of the complexes. The correlation of magnetic exchange via pseudo-halide bridge (i.e. ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic) with bridging mode and bonding parameters, e.g. such as Cu-N and Cu⋅⋅⋅Cu distances, Cu–N–Cu angles, the nature of the magnetic orbitals etc. has also been discussed.
