摘要
The concept of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) twisted stacked-tape cable (TSTC) has been developed in recent years in order to meet the requirements of high currents, high magnetic fields and excellent mechanical properties of the magnet systems of future fusion devices. When operating under alternating currents and magnetic fields, superconductors experience AC losses. In this paper, the numerical analysis of the TSTC conductors is carried out using the H-homogenization formulation and the T-A formulation model, which are based on the finite element method (FEM). The analysis shows that the TA formulation model can provide the same results as the H-homogenization formulation model in the study case, with a substantial speed advantage.
