In this work, the abilities and capacities of CNT(10, 0), SiNT(10, 0), C70 and Si70 as anodes in batteries are examined. The Vcell of nanomaterials (C70, CNT(10, 0), Si70, SiNT(10, 0)) and their N doped derivatives (N-C70, N-CNT(10, 0), N-Si70 and N-SiNT(10, 0)) on Li-ion batteries are 2.12, 2.16, 2.25, 2.30, 2.34, 2.39, 2.49 and 2.53 V. The Vcell and Ctheory of nano-compounds as anodes in Mg-ion batteries are greater than other batteries, significantly. The Ctheory of nanomaterials (C70, CNT(10, 0), Si70, SiNT(10, 0)) and their N doped derivatives (N-C70, N-CNT(10, 0), N-Si70 and N-SiNT(10, 0)) on Mg-ion batteries are 830, 846, 882, 899, 915, 934, 974 and 991 mAhg−1. It can be concluded that the N-SiNT(10, 0) and N-CNT(10, 0) with the highest Vcell and Ctheory are suitable anodes in batteries.
