Despite the unprecedented survival benefit of PD-1 axis blockade in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), most patients fail to achieve durable responses with monotherapies, even in the presence of high PD-L1 expression. In this study, we aimed to uncover spatially resolved protein markers associated with sensitivity to single-agent PD-1 axis inhibition in the setting of treatment naïve, high PD-L1 expressing, NSCLC patients.
