摘要
This review describes a zeolitic material widely used in sustainable development and high-added value applications, namely ZSM-5 zeolite. It started with a general overview of zeolites as well as the ZSM-5 framework structure. The second section of this study examined practically all feasible conventional microporous ZSM-5 synthesis techniques, media of syntheses, solvent presence, free- or presence of structure-directing agents, their natures, and even low-cost precursors employed to elaborate ZSM-5 zeolite.
