A 38-year-old man with a history of cholecystolithiasis was admitted to our department with aggravated abdominal pain. Abdominal CT, US, MRI, and MRCP revealed an incarcerated stone in the gallbladder neck (1.2 × 1.1 cm). The patient refused surgical treatment and requested preservation of the gallbladder. Preoperative evaluation showed that the gallbladder was of an appropriate size, the gallbladder wall thickness was <5 mm, the contractile function of the gallbladder was acceptable, and the patient had indications for gallbladder preservation.
