Effect of different conditions on mechanical properties of geopolymer mortar at low temperature

Aiming at the problems of insufficient comprehensive performance, heavy pollution, and poor low-temperature applicability of pavement repair materials, a kind of geopolymer pavement repair material suitable for the low-temperature environment was prepared. Compressive and flexural tests were carried out on geopolymer mortar to explore the early strength performance of different geopolymer mortar under a low-temperature curing environment and the effects of solution cement ratio and cement sand ratio on the basic working performance and mechanical properties of geopolymer mortar at low-temperature environment were analyzed in depth. The results show that the early mechanical properties of slag-based geopolymer mortar are better than those of fly ash-based geopolymer mortar at a low-temperature environment; With the increase of cement-sand ratio, the compressive strength and flexural strength of geopolymer mortar increase continuously; With the increase of solution-cement ratio, the strength first increases and then decreases. Finally, the mechanical properties of geopolymer mortar are the best when the cement-sand ratio is 1:2, and the solution-cement ratio is 0.55. The test can provide a reference for further research and the application of geopolymer mortar.
