Primary pulmonary lymphoma (PPL) is an uncommon type of extranodal lymphoma.Patients with PLL may be asymptomatic or manifest nonspecific clinical symptoms.PPL can be similar to mimic pneumonia, lung carcinoma, or metastasis in imaging.The diagnosis of PPL is difficult because the clinical symptoms and radiologic findings are nonspecific.Histologic confirmation is mandatory for definitive diagnosis.In order to improve clinicians′understanding of the disease and reduce the misdiagnosis, this article reviews recent advances of PPL in clinical manifestations, imaging, pathological features, treatment and prognosis.
