摘要
This chapter describes the synthesis of carbonyl compounds from alkynes and alkenes. Topics discussed in this chapter include the hydration of alkynes affording ketones and aldehydes; hydroformylation, hydroacylation, and hydroamidation of alkynes and alkenes giving α,β-unsaturated aldehydes/ketones/amides and aliphatic aldehydes/ketones/amides; and hydrocarboxylation and hydroesterification of alkynes and alkenes producing acrylic acids, aliphatic acids, and their esters. The carbonylation and cyclocarbonylation of alkynes and alkenes for the synthesis of carbonyl compounds and heterocycles are also described.
