摘要
The thermo-optic coupling model was established and used to simulate the thermal anisotropic property of AgGaS2 crystal pumped by carbon dioxide laser at the wavelength of 9.6 um. To acquire the accurate results, the boundary conditions were established and the temperature anisotropy was approximated by an iterative method in this model. In the development process of the temperature distribution, the conversion efficiency of the harmonic beams was demonstrated and investigated under strong and weak cooling conditions. The results showed that a compensation of the phase mismatch caused by thermal effect can effectively improve the conversion efficiency of AgGaS2 crystal better than the temperature control.
