Variation in major flavonoids glycosides and caffeoylquinic acids during florescence of three Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat cv. ‘Hangju’ genotypes

► The best harvest time of Chrysanthemum morifolium is when 50% tubular and 70% ray florets open. ► Dynamic accumulation of four bioactive components showed the trend of “low-high-low”. ► Genotype Wanyang (Tongxiang) exhibited the highest bioactive components contents. ► Genotype, origin and harvest time affect significantly the quality of C. morifolium .
