The anatomical study on nutritive organs of dendrobium flexicaule

The leaf is of isobilateral. The stoma is of quadrilataral, and only distribute in the lower epidermis. There are 21 collateral closed bundles scattered in the ground tissue of the stem. The velamen consists of 3 layers of parenchymal cells. Radial vascular bundle is of septemarch. There is not pith in the root. The exodermis, the endodermis and the pericycle consists of a layer of cells and there are the parenchymal passage cells in that. There are a few of slime cells containing needle-crystals in the root, stem, and leaf. In the meantime the relation between the anatomical structure of D. flexicaule and the ecological environment has been discussed yet.
