The presence of hybrid structured organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) display has shown outstanding characteristics generally, which was coupled rigidity and flexibility. To compare the pros and cons of different structured OLEDs, the display performance, antistatic ability and mechanical property was discussed respectively. Without the influence of polyimide (PI) charges, it was found that the hybrid structured OLEDs have slight residual image and strong electrostatic ability, equivalently with the rigid ones. Furthermore, avoiding the friability of cell structure, the hybrid structured OLEDs also have excellent mechanical property like the flexible ones. It is established that whether rigid or flexible structure has its performance boundedness, which can be broken through by hybrid structure. The research opens the leading role of hybrid structured OLEDs in the future display industry and considering more performance benefits for their actual applications.
