With the development of flat optics, the ability of optical elements to modulate the optical field has become increasingly powerful. Inspired by color router, we propose a method to achieve mid-wave infrared snapshot multispectral imaging using diffractive optical element which realizes wavelength splitting and focusing in a higher transmittance way. Based on a mid-wave infrared imaging system, multispectral imaging can be realized simply by placing the designed diffractive optical element in front of the detector. The feasibility of the method is verified by simulation experiments. We believe this is an effective way to implement mid-wave infrared snapshot multispectral imaging systems in the future.
