Learn more.Copy URL Share a linkShare onEmailFacebookTwitterLinkedInRedditWechat Graphical Abstract Biomimetic Mineralization In article 2303002, Ling Zhang, Baiping Fu, and co-worker propose a novel polyelectrolyte-cation complexes pre-precursor mineralization process by replacing the calcium in hydroxyapatite with other cations, such as strontium. The biomimetic mineralization using PAsp-Sr complexes, followed by the phosphate&fluoride solution, produces antibacterial remineralized dentin containing Sr&F-codoped hydroxyapatite. This strategy opens up new horizons for generating antibacterial remineralized dentin containing ions-doped hydroxyapatite with excellent biocompatibility via biomimetic mineralization technology.
