摘要
Eco-friendly rGO/ZnCO3 nanocomposites were synthesized from the hydrothermal method. The synthesized nanocomposite was evaluated by UV, FT-IR, XRD, and SEM analysis. The photocatalytic activity of the synthesized nanocomposite showed superior photocatalytic activity over ZnCO3. In the presence of 0.10 g of rGO/ZnCO3, the optimum condition for effective photocatalytic degradation of orange g dye was observed to be pH = 9, [orange g dye] = 10−4 M, as well as the degradation rate for orange g dye with the composite, was observed at 2.89 10−4 s−1. The outcome of the research work confirms that the synthesized composite can be used as a wastewater treatment.
