摘要
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer management is increasingly used in clinical practice for large or locoregionally advanced tumours. Tumour response after neoadjuvant chemotherapy has a prognostic impact on survival.1,2 Consequently, de-escalating subsequent treatment modalities could be considered based on tumour response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy, in particular adjuvant radiotherapy, to avoid unnecessary treatment-related complications.
