摘要
Surface charge density (SCD) or zeta potential is a practically important parameter in the case of chitosan nanoparticles (CSNPs) for the biomedical applications. In this paper, we have demonstrated the pH dependent zeta potential stability behavior of CSNPs. The pH dependent SCD of CSNPs has been simulated using experimental parameters. The time dependent stability of CSNPs was evaluated for more than 3.15 × 107 s (or more than 365 days), which shows that at acidic pH CSNPs are highly stable while it is lost at neutral and basic pH.
