摘要
The purpose of this study was to discuss changes in usability evaluation of human-machine interfaces (HMI) from the perspective of automated vehicles. This paper summarized the current status of research on the usability of automated vehicle human-machine interfaces (AV-HMI), and established a research framework for the usability of AV-HMI. Firstly, the basic concept and the two characteristics of AV-HMI usability were explained and analyzed. Then, the research progress of usability research tools, i.e., evaluation indicators and evaluation methods, was summarized. Finally, the advantages, disadvantages and applicability of different evaluation methods were analyzed in detail, which can provide a reference for the selection of usability evaluation methods for AV-HMI.
