摘要
Iron-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been received extensive attentions over the past years due to the low biotoxicity, multi-function, and wide applications. MIL-100(Fe) bearing unique structure has become the most popular Fe-based MOF up to now, and it is well-recognized as desirable environmental function material, especially for water purification. To provide systematic insight into MIL-100(Fe) for oriented design of novel materials, we review the recent progress and characteristics of MIL-100(Fe)-based materials, including MIL-100(Fe)-based composites, derivatives, and monoliths for water decontamination via adsorption, separation, and advanced oxidation processes (AOPs). Based on existing challenges and limitations discussed in this review, we further propose the future perspectives of MIL-100(Fe)-based materials for sustainable application in water remediation.
