Digital devices are increasingly popular in museums; they introduce audiences to new user experiences. The impact of the visual cognition form of digital exhibit labels on user experience in museum exhibitions is an important research topic. This study aims to improve user experience by optimizing the visual cognition form of the current digital exhibit labels of interpretative exhibitions in museums from three design perspectives: structural content, visualized structure, and guided interactive. A comparative experiment was used to measure three indexes: subjective evaluation index, knowledge dimension index, attractiveness and sustainability index. The experimental results show that the visual cognition form of structural content, visualized structure, and guided interactive designs can improve the digital exhibit labels user experience in the current interpretative exhibitions in museums.
