摘要
We investigated the efficient water collection capabilities of Janus origami samples, focusing on their unique three-dimensional structure and surface wettability. The origami design reduces the mist flow velocity and prolongs the residence time of water droplets on the surface, improving the collection efficiency. The Janus effect promotes rapid transfer of water droplets between hydrophilic and hydrophobic regions, further optimizing the water absorption of the mist. The durability test confirmed that the pine needle-like nanoneedles could provide stable and specific wettability to the water-collecting samples and the samples could be used for a long period of time. Overall, these findings highlight the effectiveness and durability of Janus origami structures for efficient fogwater collection applications.
