摘要
Chronic inflammation of white adipose tissue is a pivotal factor in the development of obesity and its linked metabolic disturbances. Emerging as a non-invasive and successful therapeutic approach across diverse medical conditions, low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) has demonstrated the ability to ameliorate inflammation. However, its potential impact on obesity, an intricate ailment, remains to be fully elucidated. In the context of this study, our objective was to investigate the extent and mechanisms by which LIPUS confers protective effects against obesity induced by a high-fat diet (HFD) in mice. Our findings underscore that LIPUS intervention effectively attenuates HFD-triggered obesity and insulin resistance, conceivably by curtailing systemic inflammation.
