Using Sedline Brain Function monitor to evaluate electroencephalographic changes during constant rate infusion of dexmedetomidine sedation in dogs

Introduction: Perioperative constant rate infusion (CRI) of dexmedetomidine is frequently used in human and veterinary anesthesia. The electroencephalographic (EEG) pattern of dexmedetomidine in dogs is unknown. This study aimed to evaluate EEG changes associated with dexmedetomidine CRI in dogs.
