The data set is acquired in Saudi Arabia from a 3D Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) survey with very large offsets and considerable low frequencies. In our study, first, FWI is performed with the tomographic part of the gradient kernel to obtain long-wavelength background velocity. The tomographic part of the kernel was formed from forward-propagated source signals and backward-propagated wavefields. Second, we run LSRTM to reveal detailed structures on top of the smoothed FWI model. In the LSRTM step, we also incorporated wavefield decomposition technique in order to recover correct reflectivity.
