摘要
The vulnerability of hippocampal pyramidal (PY) neurons played a key role in the onset of cognitive impairment. Multiple researches revealed that neuroinflammation together with microglia activation and parvalbumin (PV) interneurons participated in the pathogenesis of cognitive dysfunction. However, the underlying mechanism was still unclear. This study aimed to determine whether microglia activation would induce PV interneurons impairment and PY neurons disinhibition, and as a result, promote cognitive dysfunction after lipopolysaccharide (LPS) challenge.
