To achieve the goal of mass production of modification technology, CNTs will be rapidly dispersed in gas phase and then sprayed onto industrial CF surface containing sizing agents, This will increase Interface shear strength (IFSS) of CF from 26 MPa before processing to 35 MPa maximum (an increase of about 33.9 %). Since the sizing agent has an embedding function for CNTs, three types of CNTs adhering to the surface of CF are formed. They are complete embedded type (σ1), partially embedded type (σ2) and fully exposed type (σ3). This paper analyses the relations between three formations and processing time, and the contribution of each type to IFSS. It was found that the low content of σ1 had a positive effect on IFSS up to 6 MPa, and σ2 had a greater effect on improving IFSS than σ1 at the same concentration. While σ3 consistently had a negative effect on IFSS.
