A novel and robust electrochemical sensing tool for the determination of vismodegib (VIS), an anticancer drug, has been developed by integrating the selective recognition capabilities of molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) and the sensitivity enhancement capability of metal-organic framework (MOF).
