Photoelectric detection plays an essential role in military defense, communication technology, medical equipment, electronics, and electrical appliances. Two-dimensional (2D) materials with atomic layer thickness have attracted much attention due to their rich physical properties. Because of its unique structure and excellent photoelectric properties, more and more 2D materials have been used to prepare high-performance photodetectors. In this chapter, the functional applications of 2D materials in photoconductive detector (PCD) are reviewed. First, the working mechanism, main parameters, and the basic structure of the PCD are briefly introduced. Then, from the perspective of device structure and the functional characteristics of different components, the functional applications of 2D materials in PCD are reviewed. Finally, the development of 2D materials in PCD is summarized.
