HP-3-1 Platelet Rich Plasma and Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound Combination in Erectile Dysfunction Treatment

In order to evaluate the efficacy and safety of therapeutic model of combined application of platelet rich plasma (PRP) intracavernous injections and low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) for erectile dysfunction of vascular origin (arterial and corporal veno-occlusive) a prospective clinical study on 64 outpatients with diagnosis of erectile dysfunction of vascular genesis (ICD-10: N48.4) moderate and mild grade (according to IIEF-5) in Men's health Clinic (Kiev, Ukraine), was conducted. Main group underwent treatment protocol of 6 sessions of PRP intracavernous injections (6 focuses by 1,0 ml, 1 session weekly) and 12 sessions of local penile LIPUS (2 sessions weekly, each 1-st session simultaneously with injections). Control group underwent 12 sessions of local penile LIPUS (2 sessions weekly) only.
