Indole Alkaloids from the Leaves ofAnthocephalus chinensis

Abstract Anthocephalusine A ( 1 ) and 3 β ‐isodihydrocadambine 4‐oxide ( 2 ) were isolated from the leaves of Anthocephalus chinensis (Rubiaceae), together with five known compounds. The structures were established by spectroscopic methods including 2D‐NMR analyses.
