摘要
Aventurine glass is a colored glass that has been utilized as art glass. We studied the morphology and the reflective property of Cr 2 O 3 microcrystals in SiO 2 –B 2 O 3 –Na 2 O glass. An increase in B 2 O 3 content and Cr 2 O 3 addition rate increases the number of microcrystals in aventurine glass . The aventurine glass fiber that was packed Cr 2 O 3 microcrystals into the base glass with high density shows a higher reflectance at the peak wavelength than the glass fiber colored by Cr 3+ . Moreover, the reflectance of the aventurine glass fiber is correlated with the number of Cr 2 O 3 microcrystals in aventurine glass .
