摘要
The thermal decomposition of some platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes was studied using thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG and DTA) techniques. The platinum complexes studied were: dihydrogen hexachloroplatinate(IV) (H2PtCl6 · 6 H2O); ammonium tetrachloroplatinate(II) [(NH4)2PtCl4]; diammineplatinum(II) nitrite [(NH3)2− Pt(NO2)2]; tetraammineplatinum(II) nitrate [Pt(NH3)4 (NO3)2] and tetraammineplatinum(II) chloride [Pt(NH3)4Cl2 · H2O]. Thermal analysis was carried out under an atmosphere of helium, hydrogen or oxygen (60 ml min−1). Generally, a lower thermal stability under hydrogen atmosphere than helium or oxygen atmospheres was observed. Endothermal decomposition of chlorine complexes and exothermal decomposition of nitrite and nitrate complexes were also observed.
