摘要
Abstract In the present study, BaTiO3/g-C3N4 heterostructures with various g-C3N4 contents have been synthesized by a simple method. Formation of g-C3N4 and BaTiO3/g-C3N4 heterostructures were confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis. The photocatalytic activity of BaTiO3/g-C3N4 heterostructures was evaluated by the degradation of methylene blue (MB) dye. The as-prepared BaTiO3/g-C3N4 heterostructured photocatalysts exhibit enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of MB dye under sunlight irradiation. This can be attributed to the matchable band structures, resulting in the efficient separation and transfer of photogenerated charge carriers.
