摘要
Displays and their internal constituent materials for 3C electronics are undergoing rapid technological and product iteration. Several mainstream displays show various features and advantages but face challenges in achieving ideal flexible applications. Meanwhile, optical adhesives for flexible displays have rapidly developed in recent years, and their novel design strategies and new processes from traditional adhesives have attracted attention. Flexible optical adhesive has played an important role in new display screens beyond just bonding, but their durability, functionality, and production processes remain challenging to improve. This paper reviews the latest developments in display technology and explores the challenges and trends in creating flexible displays. It also summarizes the latest design strategies and goals for flexible optical adhesives and outlines recent research advances. Finally, the paper discusses the current challenges and potential directions for future development.
