A superhydrophobic nanocrystalline MOF embedded starch@cotton composite for fast, selective and nanomolar sensing and adsorptive removal of a fluorinated herbicide from aqueous medium

A reusable starch@cotton composite embedded with nanocrystalline MOF was fabricated, characterized, and applied for nanomolar recognition and adsorption of trifluralin from contaminated water, fruits, vegetables, soil, and diverse pH environments.
