Diamond-Blackfan Anemia and Isolated Cleft Palate

Abstract Abstract Diamond Blackfan anaemia is associated with a variety of multiple congenital anomalies. The authors present a case of cleft palate occurring as the only anomaly in a child with Diamond Blackfan anaemia. Isolated cleft palate in association with Diamond Blackfan anaemia has not been previously reported in English literature. Therefore the authors believe this represents a new entity within the spectrum of associated congenital abnormalities in Diamond Blackfan anaemia.
