Plett Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Edelbert Gregory Plett: received his B.A. Sc. from the University of British Columbia, his S.M. and Sc.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, all in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Research Engineer at the Guggenheim Laboratories, Princeton University prior to his present position as Professor of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at Carleton University.
