Fixation of Carbon Dioxide to Carbon by Catalytic Reduction over Metal Oxides

Abstract The catalytic reduction of CO2 to carbon with hydrogen was studied on the oxide catalysts for the fixation of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide was reduced to carbon and carbon monoxide selectively on the oxide catalysts. The catalyst, WO3, is highly active for reducing carbon dioxide to carbon.
