摘要
Naphthalenedicarboxylate based semi-rigid metal organic frameworks provide avenues for various material properties. Their tunable properties are of great interest for new applied materials. In this review naphthalenedicarboxylate MOFs originating from different positional isomers are classified. The properties associated with these MOFs in various applications are evaluated through structural understandings. Fundamental self-assembling process by various carboxylate binding modes, nodes and linkers are described. Gated porous structures of certain naphthalenedicarboxylate metal organic frameworks to control selective intake of guest and nano-dimensional architectures are demonstrated. This review article encompasses a state of art of the different MOFs of naphthalenedicarboxylates including the various structural and material properties.
