摘要
Fast synthesis of materials is vital for the industrial mass production in consideration of high efficiency and low cost. Here, we have originally developed a simple, feasible and scalable method realizing fast synthesis of uniform mesoporous silica (SiO2) spheres (UMSSs) via one-step hydrothermal treatment with only 2 h reaction time. The UMSSs have high surface area, large pore volume and abundant pores with short-range order, and exhibit impressive antibacterial activity.
