Research advance of the etiology and medicine treatment using capsaicin cough provocation test

Capsaicin couph provocation test is currently the most common and objected way to assess the cough sensitivity.This test is not only easy and safe to operate, but also have the clinical significance to assess the chronic cough sensitivity, to identify the causes of cough, to confirm the clinical diagnosis, to analyze the cough mechanism, to conduct medicine treatment and to assess the prognosis of chronic cough.This research summarizes the etiology and medicine treatment by using capsaicin cough provocation test.
