摘要
Flux switching motor (FSM) inherits many advantages of the brushless doubly salient motor (DSM), such as no permanent magnet and no winding on the rotor, sturdy and durable, high back electromotive force constant and output torque, which make it suitable for a wide range of speed operation. The flux switching motor can be used both as a generator and a motor. At present, the research on FSM is still in the stage of preliminary theory and prototype experiment. In this paper, the working principle, characteristics, and control methods of flux switching motor are introduced. According to the research status and current deficiencies, the development trend and research direction of flux switching motor are discussed.
