In this paper, we analyze information theory measures in polarimetric interferometric SAR images (PolInSAR) that follow 6-dimensionalGaussian probability density function (PDF). The Shannon entropy is on PolInSAR images the sum of 3 contributions : intensity, polarimetry and interferometry. It enables to determine polarimetric and interferometric intraclass properties of different regions of an image. We then consider the Bhattacharyya distance, a contrast measure between neighbour regions, and show that it is the sum of three contrast terms of intensity, polarimetry and interferometry.
