Revolutionizing plant-based extracts for skin care and therapeutics

Nature is considered as the most important blessing to the mankind. Nature provides us everything that is required for our existence. Increasing health awareness and the importance of keeping up physical appearance are driving the interest for plant-based natural skin-care and therapeutic products around the world. Developing concerns about skin reactions to synthetic compounds and the distinction in social conventions have given rise to the appreciation of natural skin-care and therapeutic items. Currently, emphasis on “natural” ingredients is the most significant revolution in personal care. Thus in skin-care and therapeutic cosmetic products, natural components are incorporated straightforwardly or their extracts and essential oils are used randomly. In this article, skin-care and therapeutic properties of some plants and their extracts are vividly described.
