摘要
Abstract
Hand deformities with a central failure of formation are classified as a form of typical cleft hand. The deformities previously classified as an atypical cleft fall under the category of symbrachydactyly. Genetics, embryology, and the concepts behind surgical treatment of the typical cleft hand are discussed.
