摘要
A synthesis of new trifluoromethylated 1,3-oxazolecarboxanilides and their fungicidal activity are described. Reaction of ethyl -chloro--trifluoroacetoacetate (5) with acetamide (6) in refluxing toluene gave 1,3-oxazole 7, isomeric 1,3-oxazole 8, and 1,3-imidazole 9. The plausible reaction mechanism including amphoteric nucleophilic character of amide and structural identification of the compounds based on C NMR and mass spectroscopy are discussed. No significant fungicidal activity was shown through antifungal screening (in vivo) of the synthesized compounds against typical plant diseases, including rice blast (Magnaporthe grisea (Herbert) Barr), rice sheath blight (Corticium sasaki Matsu), tomato gray mold (Botrytis cinerea), tomato late blight (Phytophthora infestans), wheat leaf rust (Puccinia recondita Rob ex Desm), and barley powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis DC f sp hordei Marchal). agrochemical group, fungicidal activity.
