摘要
The problem of positioning of user equipment (UE) using LTE mobile communication network has become highly relevant in recent years, especially for GNSS denied environment. The object of this research is a software-defined radio (SDR) LTE network positioning technology prototype design for testing new technical solutions to improve the accuracy of UE location estimation in existing LTE and emerging 5G NR networks. Correct functioning UE during reception of reference signals for positioning purpose requires processing of various control signal information blocks, transmitted by the eNodeB. The purpose of this research is development and validation of the Master Information Block (MIB) transmission and reception for bandwidth acquisition on-the-fly during UE positioning in LTE network. The contribution of this research is MIB software realization and its experimental validation in laboratory conditions.
