摘要
Abstract The development of efficient electrocatalysts towards oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is critical for large‐scale applications of electrochemical water splitting and metal‐air cells. Usually, transition metal alloys exhibit superior activity for OER. Herein, we successfully prepared a series of scalable transition metal alloys with homogeneous size by a facial sol‐gel self‐propagating combustion method. Among them, the CoFe alloy displayed the highest oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activity, achieving an overpotential of 310 mV at 10 mA cm −2 . After running OER tests for 48 h, the activity of CoFe alloy hardly decayed, indicating its outstanding stability. This work may make some contributions to the production of promising transition metal alloy catalysts and related energy equipment applications.
